Bihar Man Walks Into Hospital Carrying Deadly Russel's Viper That Bit Him | WATCH

In Bihar's Bhagalpur, a man was bitten by a Russell's Viper - one of the most venomous snakes in the world - and what he did next was quite unexpected.

Prakash Mandal, the man in question, grabbed the deadly snake by its mouth, wrapped it around his neck, and made his way to the hospital.

Doctors and patients were left astonished when they saw him, dressed in a dhoti, carrying the snake while seeking urgent medical attention in the emergency ward after the bite.

Onlookers began recording the strange scene as it unfolded at the hospital. Attendants and other people kept their distance, fearing what might happen if the snake slipped from Prakash's hand. A man was seen guiding Prakash to a secluded area, ensuring the safety of everyone on the premises.

Prakash's next move was even more surprising - he lay on the floor, gripping the Russell's Viper tightly with his right hand.

In another video, Prakash is seen lying on a stretcher, still clutching the snake. Although he appeared to be in pain, he refused to release the reptile.

The doctor attending to him mentioned that treating him would be difficult as long as he held onto the snake. Eventually, Prakash let the snake go. His current condition remains unknown, but he is still undergoing treatment.

The Russell's Viper is a highly venomous snake from the Viperidae family, commonly found in open areas from India to Taiwan and Java. It is a major cause of snakebite fatalities within its range, particularly in farmlands where human contact is frequent.

Russell's Vipers have been discovered in Bhagalpur, sometimes turning up in homes or hostels. Hundreds of these snakes have been rescued in recent years.
