Bihar Man Killed Over Samosa Dispute, Woman Shopkeeper Arrested

A shocking incident in Bihar's Bhojpur district has left a village stunned after a 65-year-old farmer was brutally murdered following a dispute over a samosa. The victim, identified as Chandrama Yadav from Kaulodihari village, was fatally attacked during a confrontation that spiraled out of control.

Argument Over Samosa Turns Deadly

The incident took place on Sunday when a minor disagreement over samosas escalated into a violent altercation. According to police reports, a young boy from Kaulodihari village had gone to buy samosas from a local shop. There, he got into a quarrel with other children who not only snatched his snack but also assaulted him.

Seeing the commotion, Chandrama Yadav stepped in to try and resolve the situation. He approached the samosa shop to speak with those involved and attempted to reason with the locals about the argument between the children. However, what began as a small discussion soon turned into a heated verbal clash between Yadav and some villagers present at the spot.

Attack With Sharp Weapon Claims Life

As tempers flared, the argument took a violent turn. In the chaos, a woman who owned the shop allegedly picked up a sword and struck Yadav on the head. The blow left him seriously injured, and he was rushed to a hospital in Patna for treatment. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on Monday.

Police Investigation Underway

Following the incident, Bhojpur police swiftly registered a murder case and began investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack. The woman accused of attacking Chandrama Yadav was arrested shortly after the incident. The shocking case has left residents in disbelief that a simple argument over a samosa could result in such a tragic death.

Police officials said that further investigation is ongoing to determine whether others were involved and to ensure justice for the deceased farmer and his family.
