Bihar Floods: Woman, two children washed away as bridge collapses

At least three people, including a child, were feared drowned when a bridge gave away in Bihar's Araria district on Friday.

A video has emerged on social media which shows a woman and two children drowned when a bridge collapsed, taking the death toll to 98. The video which was captured by local has gone viral. The video first shows the river uprooting a huge tree and carrying it away with the flow and later destroying the bridge that was being used by the locals to cross the river.

The flood situation in Bihar has worsened. The deluge has so far affected nearly 93 lakh people in 15 districts, forced postponement of examination and cancellation of trains.
