Bihar Elections 2025: NDA Manifesto Pledges ₹10 Lakh Support for Extremely Backward Classes

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has unveiled its manifesto for the upcoming 2025 Bihar assembly elections. The announcement took place in Patna, with key leaders from the alliance present. The manifesto outlines a series of commitments targeting youth employment, women's empowerment, and support for backward classes.

Among the promises made by the NDA is the creation of over 1 crore government jobs in Bihar. This initiative aims to tackle unemployment and provide stable employment opportunities for the state's youth. Additionally, a "mega skills centre" is proposed for each district to enhance skill development.

Empowering Women and Backward Classes

Women in Bihar are set to receive financial assistance of up to ₹2 lakh as part of the NDA's plans. The manifesto also introduces "Mission Crorepati," which aims to help women become crorepatis, or earners of ₹1 crore. Furthermore, 1 crore "Lakhpati Didis," women earning ₹1 lakh, will be created under this initiative.

The NDA has also pledged financial aid of up to ₹10 lakh for extremely backward classes (EBCs). A dedicated committee will be established to devise welfare schemes specifically tailored for these communities. These measures aim to uplift marginalized groups and ensure their inclusion in economic growth.
Support for Farmers

A significant promise in the manifesto is a legal guarantee for the minimum support price (MSP) for farmers. This assurance seeks to provide farmers with a stable income and protect them from market fluctuations. By securing MSP, the NDA aims to bolster agricultural stability and farmer welfare.

The manifesto's release was marked by Union Home Minister Amit Shah's presence at an election rally in Patna. His participation underscores the importance of these elections and the NDA's commitment to fulfilling its promises if elected.
