Bihar Board Class 10, 12 exam 2018: Check new exam pattern
“We are changing the examination pattern with two targets – to improve pass percentage and ensure meritorious students getting high percentage can compete with students of other boards,” Kishor said.
A new exam pattern has been introduced for the Bihar Board Class 10, 12 exam 2018.
The new pattern will include 50 per cent objective questions in all papers. Under the new format, candidates will now have to answer all objective questions on OMR sheets to ensure transparency. Earlier, only papers of science had 40 per cent objective questions.

Speaking to reporters about the same, BSEB chairman Anand Kishor said, "We have decided to change the examination pattern for Classes 10 and 12 from 2018. All theory papers will have 50 per cent objective marks. There will also be short questions of two marks each."
"We are changing the examination pattern with two targets - to improve pass percentage and ensure meritorious students getting high percentage can compete with students of other boards," Kishor said.
CBSE had released the timetable for class 10 and class 12 on October 24. The class 12 exam will start from February 6 to February 16, 2018, while class 10 exams will take place on February 21 and will continue till February 28.
