Bihar to Get ₹62.27 Crore PEB Fabrication Unit at Bariyarpur, 400 Jobs Expected

A ₹62.27 crore PEB fabrication unit by Experia Prefaxo Pvt. Ltd. is approved for Bariyarpur, Bihar, expecting around 400 direct and indirect jobs. The project supports BIADA’s land allotment and plug-and-play sheds programme, strengthening Bihar’s manufacturing ecosystem and regional industrial growth.

In a significant push to industrial growth in Bihar, a modern Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) fabrication material manufacturing unit will be set up at Industrial Area Bariyarpur with an investment of ₹62.27 crore. The project, to be established by Experia Prefaxo Pvt. Ltd., is expected to generate around 400 direct and indirect employment opportunities.

The development comes following a meeting of the Project Clearance Committee (PCC) of the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority, chaired by Kundan Kumar, Secretary of the Industries Department and Managing Director of BIADA and IDA. During the meeting, several proposals related to land allotment and plug-and-play industrial sheds were approved for eligible applicants across the state.

As part of the approvals, Experia Prefaxo Pvt. Ltd. has been allotted five acres of land at Bariyarpur for setting up the proposed unit. The project is expected to boost industrial and construction activities in Bihar while also strengthening the state’s manufacturing ecosystem.

Industry experts believe the unit will not only enhance local economic activity but also create skill-based employment opportunities for the youth, contributing to Bihar’s long-term industrial development. Industries Minister Shreyasi Singh said that the newly approved industrial projects are giving fresh momentum to Bihar’s industrial and technological progress. She emphasized that such initiatives will generate large-scale employment and help position Bihar as a modern industrial hub.

Secretary Kundan Kumar reiterated the state government’s commitment to inclusive and balanced industrial development. He stated that BIADA is ensuring transparent and time-bound allotment of industrial plots to investors. He further highlighted that improved infrastructure, better connectivity, simplified procedures, and policy support are being provided to create a conducive investment environment and facilitate swift project execution. The establishment of the PEB fabrication unit is expected to mark another milestone in Bihar’s journey towards becoming a preferred destination for industrial investment.
