Bihar: 2 school children killed, 11 injured after high voltage wire falls on school van in Baniapur

In a shocking incident, at least two school students were killed and 11 others were injured when a high voltage wire fell on a school van Baniapur in Bihar.

According to ANI, Three of the 11 children who were injured are in a critical condition.The students incurred injuries from electrocution.

Authorities rushed to the spot after receiving the information about the tragedy. Three of the 11 injured are in serious condition.

In February this year, 9 students of a government middle school in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district were killed and 10 others were injured when a speeding SUV ran them over while they were crossing a national highway after classes ended for the day.

The incident occurred outside children's school when they were crossing the road. The driver fled after leaving the vehicle near the spot.

On February 19, 10 people were killed and 35 others were injured on the outskirts of Patna when a private bus carrying a marriage party overturned on the Patna-Gaya state highway.
