"The decision that has been taken in this fight for justice, that if something is not done by May 21, if our demands (to arrest Brijbhushan Sharan Singh) are not met during that period then we will have to take a big call," ANI quoted Vinesh as saying.

When asked about their future in wrestling amid protests, he said, "We will compete. If god presents an opportunity before us then we will play definitely. We are still trying to train as much as possible during the protests, trying to find time for it and plan our training schedule,"

Wrestlers have been protesting at Jantar Mantar since April 23 demanding the arrest of Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Singh and his sacking from the post following the allegations of sexual harassment made by seven wrestlers.

On the other hand, Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) spokesperson Rakesh Tikait, Khap Maham 24 chief Mehar Singh and Sankyut Kisan Morcha's (non-political) Baldev Singh Sirsa met the protesting wrestlers at the Jantar Mantar.

"Many leaders from Khap panchayat and SKM attended the meeting today. We decided that members from every khap will come to the protest site every day. They will stay here during the day and return by the evening," Tikait said before a huge gathering.

"The wrestlers' committee will take care of the protest and we will support the wrestlers from outside. We have scheduled a meeting for May 21. If the government does not offer a resolution, we will devise our next strategy," he added.

However, Wrestling Federation of India chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh urged farmer leaders to wait for the outcome of the probe into the allegations of sexual harassment made by the grapplers.

In a video shared on Facebook, Singh said, "Chacha-Taau (uncles), I am not saying that you should not come to Delhi. You can come to Delhi, and do whatever you want. "From the first day I had said that if charges against me are proven, I will hang myself. "Believe me, if daughters of your village are into wrestling, then ask them when no one is around if the allegations against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh depict what Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh is. After that, you can do whatever you want."
