Big Blow To AAP! 7 MLAs Resign Ahead Of Delhi Assembly Elections, Attack Arvind Kejriwal
Delhi Assembly Election 2025: With only a few days left for polling for 70 assembly seats in Delhi, ruling Aam Aadmi Party on Friday faced a big blow as its 7 sitting MLAs tendered resignation from all posts in the party and primary membership.
Trilokpuri MLA Rohit Mehraulia, Janakpuri MLA Rajesh Rishi, Kasturba Nagar MLA Madan Lal, and Mehrauli MLA Naresh Yadav, Pawan Sharma from Adarsh Nagar, BS Joon from Bijwasan and Palam MLA Bhawna Gaur have parted ways with Aam Aadmi Party.

Sharing a copy of their resignation on micro-blogging site X, Bhawna Gaur and Madal Lal expressed their dissatisfaction with party high command.
"I hereby resign from the primary membership of Aam Aadmi Party as I have lost faith in you and the party. Please accept the same," Bhawna Gaur said in her letter to Arvind Kejriwal.
Trilokpuri MLA Rohit Kumar Mehraulia attacked AAP Supremo Arvind Kejriwal stating that he wants to use Baba Sahib (Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar)'s name and doesn't want to follow his teachings.
Notably, all these 7 MLAs who have resigned from Aam Aadmi Party's primary membership, were denied tickets and now, when elections are round the corner, they resigned strategically in a gap of couple of minutes.
