BHU To Release Round 1 Seat Allotment Results For Undergraduate Admissions On August 8, 2025

The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is set to release the seat allotment results for Round 1 of undergraduate admissions on August 8, 2025. The first merit list will be accessible at bhucuet.samarth.edu.in. Admissions for all undergraduate programmes at BHU for the academic year 2025-26 will rely solely on the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate 2025 (CUET UG 2025).

Students who are allocated seats must promptly pay their fees to confirm their admission. The cutoff marks for undergraduate courses and subject combinations will also be available on the official BHU website today. Regular classes at BHU are scheduled to commence on August 28, 2025.

BHU UG Counselling: Checking Seat Allotment

To check the seat allotment list, candidates should visit bhucuet.samarth.edu.in. On the homepage, they need to click on the link for the round 1 seat allocation list. This action will open a new page where applicants can review the list. It is advisable to download and save a physical copy for future reference.

Students selected in this round must report to their respective departments for document verification and reservation of seats by August 25, 2025. After completing these formalities, regular classes will begin shortly after.

Important Dates and Schedule

The schedule for BHU UG counselling includes several key dates: Performance-based tests for BPA, BFA, and Sports Quota are from August 13 to 16, 2025. The first round allocation is on August 8, followed by subsequent rounds on August 11, August 14, and August 18. Reporting at respective faculties or colleges is required by August 25, with classes starting on August 28.

Practical course exams will occur on campus from August 13 to 16. Registered students must attend these exams as scheduled to avoid missing out. The institute has noted that the number of counselling rounds may change based on circumstances.

Correction Window Details

A Correction Window will be available only to those who have registered and submitted their application forms within the deadline. Candidates who have entered incorrect gender information must make corrections during this period. Female candidates will gain access to more preferences or locations after making necessary corrections as per BHU's official notice.
