Bhojpuri Song 'Drum Mein Raja' Mocks Meerut Murder Case, Netizens Furious: 'This Is Off-Limits' | WATCH
A Bhojpuri song titled 'Drum Mei Raja' has gone viral, leaving netizens shocked by its eerie resemblance to the recent Meerut murder case.
One widely circulated video of the song carried the caption: "Bhojpuri singers don't even spare murder cases!"

The song's lyrics, which speak of a man being confined to a drum if he provokes a woman, have struck a nerve given the details of the Meerut case.
Adding to the disquiet, the music video features background dancers using blue drums as props, even depicting them bound and placed inside the containers. This visual element disturbingly mirrors the reported method of concealment used in the alleged murder of 29-year-old Saurabh Rajput.
The brutal crime took place on the night of March 4, when Muskan Rastogi and her lover, Sahil Shukla, allegedly murdered her husband, Saurabh Rajput. The duo is accused of dismembering his body, severing his head and hands, and concealing the remains in a blue drum filled with cement.
Social media platforms are abuzz with reactions, many expressing outrage and disbelief at the song's insensitive parallel to a horrific crime.
One user commented, "Strange to think that once Bihar was a place where people from all over the world came to learn about civilization. It seems the sense of civilization has long gone in many people there."
Another added, "You can create lyrics with any trending topic with catchy beats and raunchy steps. But this is off-limits."
Further condemnation came from a user urging action: "Please take action. These people are promoting a horrible crime that can disrupt peace in society."
Meanwhile, the Meerut murder investigation continues with a significant new development. Authorities have confirmed that the Muskan is reportedly pregnant and will undergo an ultrasound to verify her condition.
