Bhagoria festival begins tomorrow in MP
Jhabua (MP), March 15: The week-long tribal 'Bhagoria' festival in which colourful markets are put up in western Madhya Pradesh will begin on Tuesday, March 15.
About 100 Bhagoria 'Haats' (markets) will be set up in Jhabua, Alirajpur, Dhar, Khargone and Barwani districts of the state. Of them, 35 are going to be organised in Jhabua district on different dates, officials said.

The young tribals, attired in colourful dresses, turn up at the haats with their traditional music instruments to sing and dance as a part of the festival.
Foreign tourists too turn up to have a glimpse of the merry-making at the haats. Heavy police force will be deployed at Bhagoria haats to ensure that no untoward incident occurs, district Superintendent of Police Sanjay Tiwari said.
