Bengaluru: Youth brutally beaten for protecting niece from molesters

Bengaluru, Sept 11: In a shocking incident, a 24-year-old youth was brutally thrashed by a group of at least 40 men, when he tried to protect her 9-year-old niece from molestation.

According to reports, some labourers used to pass lewd comments at a 9-year-old girl, when she used to catch her school bus, near her house.

Recently, all limits were crossed when they allegedly tried to touch her.

When the incident came to the notice of minor girl's uncle, Adil, then, he confronted the supervisor of the construction building to complain about the incident.

Instead of solving the matter, the supervisor started insulting Adil and also threatened him to kill him.

While talking to a news channel, badly-injured Adil said that at least 40 labourers attacked him with steel rods. He also alleged that police also reached one hour late, after reporting the incident.

The residents of the area alleged that same labourers used to pass comments at other girls too.
