Bengaluru weather: Heavy rains to continue, warns IMD
Heavy Monsoon rains continued to lash Bengaluru for the fourth consecutive day on Sunday. However, the India Meteorological Department on Sunday warned of heavy to very heavy rainfall in Bengaluru and south interior Karnataka for the next two days.

According to IMD-Bengaluru director-in-charge, Sunder M Metri said that there are two systems under the influence of which the city, south, north and coastal Karnataka will receive moderate to very heavy rainfall. He said there is a trough of low pressure running from south Maharashtra towards north interior Karnataka, and another from Rayalseema towards south Tamil Nadu.
Meanwhile, the Skymet Weather also predicted that the weather conditions will remain conducive for moderate rains with one or two heavy showers for the next 24 to 48 hours.
