Bengaluru Man Books Uber Auto During Peak Hours, Waiting Time Of 71 Min Stuns Netizens
Bengaluru residents continue to share amusing anecdotes about the city's notorious traffic jams, work-life balance, and other aspects of their daily lives. Many jokes circulate about the city's struggles with congestion during peak hours and how people cope with such situations. Recently, a Bengaluru resident took to Twitter to share an interesting post in the form of a screenshot, detailing an auto ride request from the Uber app. However, what caught everyone's attention was the unusually long waiting time.
In the screenshot, it was revealed that the auto rickshaw was located a staggering 24 kilometers away from the user's location, with an estimated waiting time of 71 minutes.

Twitter user Anushank Jain wrote,''Huge respect for him if he actually shows up.'' The user also added the hashtag #peakbengaluru.
The screenshot left Twitter users astonished, leading to a flurry of humorous comments and reactions. One user suggested sending the screenshot to the HR managers of companies in Bengaluru that require employees to work from the office.
Another user proposed the idea of moving to Tier 2 or 3 cities or rural areas, citing higher productivity, lower living costs, and enhanced quality of life. They also suggested that multinational companies consider employee convenience when deciding office locations.
While one user commended Jain for waiting for such a long duration, it turned out that waiting was not necessary as the driver canceled the ride after just one minute.
In a previous incident, an auto rickshaw in Bengaluru garnered online attention when a photo shared by user Surpit Jadhav revealed that the vehicle displayed three different registration numbers. The auto had distinct registration numbers for Ola customers, Rapido, and the official yellow board registration.
