Vijay, who tried to repair the laptop, landed in trouble when the laptop crashed. When he confronted the principal, the accused reportedly harassed him and demanded Rs 40,000 as compensation.
Vijay did not inform his parents regarding the incident. When he failed to give Rs 40,000, the principal allegedly suspended him from school for 10 days.
Vijay committed suicide in July 2015 but the real incident came into light recently. Two months after his death, Vijay's friends disclosed everything to his parents.
It also has been reported that Vijay's parents later were summoned to an MLA's house where the accused school principal too was present. The accused allegedly had offered Rs 50,000 to Vijay's parents so that they do not file any legal complaint against her.
However, Vijay's parents decided to file legal case and they finally lodged the complaint on Sept 15. Investigating police officers have been trying to locate the whereabouts of the principal who is currently absconding.
