Bengaluru: Depressed woman ends life, suicide caught on camera (Video)

Bengaluru, Dec 23: In a tragic incident, a 45-year-old woman committing suicide was caught on camera, at Uttaradi Math Road, Shankarapuram in south Bengaluru, on Monday, Dec 21.

The woman was identified as Seethalakshmi, a native of Madya district. She was reportedly depressed after her husband and mother's death. She had no children and was married was last 20 years.

She finally decided to take the extreme step on the occasion of Vaikunta Ekadashi thinking that it would land her to heaven. Her body was found floating in the well, by the priests and devotees.

Before ending her life, she had made a call to her brother Prasad, who said that her sister was feeling lonely and was mentally depressed.

Here is the chilling video from the CCTV camera footage, when Seethalakshmi jumps into a borewell tunnel around 3 pm on Monday. On Tuesday morning, her body was sent for post-mortem.
