Bengaluru: BJP Corporator Rekha Kadiresh's husband murdered in broad daylight

Husband of BJP Corporator Rekha Kadiresh was murdered in Bengaluru in broad daylight by four assailants on Wednesday.

Kadiresh S (47) was the husband of BJP corporator Rekha R (Chalavadipalya ward in Chamarajpet). He was killed by a gang of four near Muneshwara Temple in Chalavadipalya.

According to the police, the deceased was a history-sheeter and police suspect that personal rivalry could be the reason.

The incident happened at around 3:45 pm when Kadiresh, along with a few others was at Muneshwara Temple preparing for Shivrathri celebrations when four people came from behind and attacked him with lethal weapons and escaped.

However, Kadiresh was immediately rushed to the hospital where he succumbed after a few minutes.

A case has been registered and police have begun investigation in the case.
