Bengaluru: Amidst election heat, heavy rains bring mercury levels down
Amidst the immense campaign heat, Bengaluru city was woken up to heavy downpour on Tuesday morning. Many Bengalureans woke up to the sound of heavy thunder.
The downpour was reported in almost all parts of the city as a result of which the soaring mercury came down. It rained for around 30 minutes in most places.
Many welcomed the rains as it brought respite amidst the gruelling heat. The mercury levels both weather wise and electorally have been soaring. Karnataka goes to polls on May 12 while counting will be held on May 15.
