Bengaluru: 2 dead as fire breaks out in residential complex
A massive fire that broke out at a residential complex in Bengaluru killed two people and injured many other including fire and safety personnel. The fire that engulfed a five-storey building was brought under control by 12 fire tenders that were rushed to the spot but two people ended up losing their lives.

While the cause of the fire is unknown, the building houses furniture shop on the ground floor, the first and the second floor served as storerooms while the third and the fourth floor were being used as residential complexes for families of workers of the furniture shop. The building also had a madrassa on the fifth floor. None was present in the Madrassa since it was a Friday.
Fire and safety personnel along with local police and volunteers evacuated residents from the building but two workers were feared trapped. Rescue personnel found two people dead after the fire was doused. A complaint has been registered by the local police and investigations have been ordered.
