Bengal BJP president Rahul Sinha to get CRPF security cover following threat perception

Kolkata, Jan 17: West Bengal state BJP President Rahul Sinha has been provided CRPF security cover on the instructions of Ministry of Home Affairs following a threat perception report by security agencies.

"We have been directed by the MHA to provide Rahul Sinha with security cover. I cannot divulge any further details," IG (CRPF) West Bengal sector Vivek Sahay told PTI on Saturday.

"I have been informed that there are central intelligence reports about threat perception following which CRPF will be providing a security cover," Sinha said.

BJP's constant protest against the growing terror modules of JMB in Bengal has made its senior leaders vulnerable to threats, a party leader said.
