“Because of you BJP formed govt in Goa,” Parrikar taunts Digvijaya
Manohar Parrikar on Friday taunted Congress leader Digvijaya Singh in Rajya Sabha on BJP forming government in Goa.
New Delhi, Mar 31: Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Friday took a jibe at Congress party leader Digvijaya Singh in Rajya Sabha and said that the Congress party leader was roaming in the state after elections, BJP formed the state.

"We formed a government in Goa because of you," said Parrikar in Rajya Sabha amidst a ruckus by the opposition Congress leaders.
Earlier in the day, Manohar Parrikar on Friday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi after taking oath as the Chief minister of the state. This is the first visit to the national capital by Parrikar after coming into power in the state.
According to Goa government officials, Parrikar will also attend Goods and Services Tax meeting "Chief Minister of Goa, Shri @manoharparrikar met Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi," the Prime Minister's Office tweeted.
It is to be mention that Parrikar has resigned from Defence Minster post on March 14 and has taken charge on coastal state. Defence Ministry post was given to the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley as an additional charge.
