Battleground Delhi: AAP’s Model Town candidate attacked for stopping illegal alcohol distribution
New Delhi, Feb 7: AAP's Model Town candidate Akhilesh Tripathi was reportedly beaten up by unidentified miscreants in Lal Bagh slum area on Friday.
According to media reports, Tripathi was thrashed while he tried to stop people from distributing illegal liquor in JJ colony.
Tripathi was earlier admitted in ICU of Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital but later he was shifted to LNJP Hospital in Daryaganj.

Meanwhile, Police is investigating the matter.
