Good job done, but not really. A look at the membership list will send you into wild guffaws as names like Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi, Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt emerge. US President Barack Obama, 90 year old Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Mahatma Gandhi, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and even 100-year old Pandit Nehru are also not left behind.

However, the leaders and the celebrities seem to be a tad bit confused with their addresses though. Consider this, Obama 'resides' in East Delhi, but notes his address as "White House, White House DC". Similarly, Rahul Gandhi, the Congress number 2 reads his exact address as "12 Tughlaq Lane". Too bad, you can't even argue that there might be many Narendra Modis and Rahul Gandhis.

"Jawaharlal Nehru" is the oldest member in AAP, ageing 100 years and he has a VVIP number too-1010101010.

AAP would have done anything for such a high-profile list, but alas these are just fake accounts by journalists, to show the pitfalls in an online drive without any check in the system. In fact, people can register as many number of times they want and they can fill in any details they wish, without fear of verification.

But, if that is the main reason behind AAP's 50 Lakh strong figure, it remains to be seen how far up it goes before the Lok Sabha elections.
