This includes all Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays. Additionally, some states will observe closures due to the Lok Sabha elections. Festivals like Rabindranath Tagore's birth anniversary, Nazrul Jayanti, and Akshaya Tritiya will also contribute to bank closures.

According to RBI guidelines, bank holidays in India fall into three categories: those governed by the Negotiable Instruments Act, holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act Real-Time Gross Settlement Holidays, and Banks' Closing of Accounts.
