State-wise Bank Holidays

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of bank holidays for February 2025. These holidays are based on national and regional festivals, anniversaries, and special occasions. On 19 February, banks will be closed in Belapur, Mumbai, and Nagpur for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti. Additionally, on 20 February, Aizawl and Itanagar will observe a holiday for State Day.

On 26 February, Mahashivratri will lead to bank closures in several cities including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kochi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, Srinagar and Thiruvananthapuram. Bank Holidays on Weekends

In addition to state-specific holidays, banks will also be closed on weekends. The weekly holiday falls on 16 February (Sunday), while the fourth Saturday closure is on 22 February. Another weekly holiday is scheduled for 23 February (Sunday). Customers should plan their banking activities accordingly to avoid disruptions.
