The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) issues a state-specific holiday schedule for banks across India. According to RBI guidelines, all scheduled and non-scheduled banks remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month.
Are Banks Open on November 16?

Since November 16 falls on the third Saturday of the month, it is not a public holiday. Therefore, banks will remain open for business as usual.
However, banking customers should note that online banking services and mobile banking apps are always operational, even during holidays. These platforms allow users to access their accounts, check balances, transfer funds, pay bills, and perform other essential banking activities seamlessly.
Bank Holidays in November:
November 18 (Monday):
Banks in Karnataka will remain closed in observance of Kanakadasa Jayanti.
November 23 (Saturday):
Being the fourth Saturday, it is a scheduled holiday across all states. Additionally, banks in Meghalaya will remain closed for the Seng Kutsnem festival.
