Bangalore Bandh, yet again: Buses, autos will be off roads on April 30

Bengaluru, April 27: Buses, autos will not be available on Thursday, April 30. Bangalore, which recently witnessed a bandh in the city, once again will face problem while travelling in the tech city.

This time transportation will cause a trouble for people across the country as employees of various transport organisations called for the bandh protesting against the Road Transport and Safety Bill 2014.

All transports including buses, autos are expected to be off the roads bringing the entire nation to a standstill. Meanwhile, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) confirmed that they will support the bandh on April 30.

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) officials announced that they have reschedule Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to various medical/ engineering/ dental/ architecture colleges as KSRTC announced its support to the bandh.

Left calls for bandh in West Bengal on April 30:

The Left front called for a bandh in West Bengal. This bandh is expected to be a 12-hour (6am to 6pm) general strike. The Left said they will protest against poll violence during the municipal elections.
