Shocking! Balika Vadhu actress Pratyusha Banerjee commits suicide

Mumbai, April 1: Popular TV actress and Balika Vadhu fame Pratyusha Banerjee has committed suicide. Reportedly, 24 year old actress hung herself at her flat in Bangur Nagar in suburban Kandivli.

Doctors at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, Mumbai declared actress dead on arrival. As per media reports, she attempted suicide in the afternoon.

It is being said that actress who got popularity after playing Anandi role in Balika Vadhu was depressed from quite some time. Reports further say that she was having some issues with boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh.

Actress who was planning to marry with boyfriend was recently seen in serial 'Sasural Simar Ka' on Colors. Earlier, she had also participated in Bigg Boss 7.

"She is no more with us. It's shocking. I spoke to her two-three months back and she was fine that time. I am at the hospital...trying to get details," Pratyusha's co star from "Balika Vadhu", Siddharth Shukla, told.

Reacting to the news, Bollywood producer Tanuj Garg tweeted, "Terrible, terrible news about Pratyusha Banerjee. Met her once at a party.
