Mangaluru, June 26: Buck does not stop at Naresh Shenoy's surrender to the police, who is main accused in the barbaric killing of RTI activist Vinayak Baliga.

The sources tell OneIndia that post murder Naresh allegedly came in touch with slew of people, both while hiding (after March 24) and prior to March 24. His intention of knocking many doors was to slip from the police hands thus building a clean facade for public as he has political aspirations too.

Naresh Shenoy

This news portal has learnt a few prominent names which Naresh contacted. In the evening hours between 7.00 pm-7.30 pm on day of murder, March 21, Shenoy allegedly visited Member of Parliament (BJP), Dakshina Kannada, Nalin Kumar Kateel at Circuit house, Mangaluru. However what has been transpired between Kateel and Naresh can only come out if police seek answers to this specific aspect.

The cops are alredy in know of this visit. During the course of the investigation the police have gathered this information through certain mobile network tracing technology based investigation technique. Hence it is likely interrogators shooting this question to Naresh Shenoy.

Shenoy has also allegedly taped an underworld don, Vicky Shetty to own up the case in view of saving his face. A sum of Rs 60 lacs has been allegedly offered to Vicky to own the up case falsely in order to subvert the case completely, sources revealed.

The cops here have to work so hard on the ground to learn how Naresh, leader of Yuva Brigade came in to contact with Vicky Shetty and it is necessary to connect some dots. It is highly unlikely Naresh revealing these details to the cops.

The silence of MP Nalin Kumar Kateel in Baliga murder case is conspicuous and cast shadow of doubts. If required the police have to enquire Kateel to clarify on his close friendship with Nalin, meeting on March 21 and on further developments.

Narendra Nayak, President, Federation of Indian Rationalist Association opine investigation beyond Naresh is imminent in this case. Nayak is relentlessly fighting to ensure justice for Vinayak Baliga. He says since financial misappropriation of funds of Venkataramana Temple, Car Street has been alleged by Baliga himself, investigation has to move beyond Naresh. All aspects needs to be probed, added Nayak.

Unless, Naresh's revelation during the interrogation does not go to the roots, it will be very difficult for the cops to build a strong case. Many other conspirators and political involvement in the murder will not come to light.

It is hence, if required, narco-analysis test has to be conducted on Naresh. "If required application will be filed in the court in connection to brain mapping for Naresh," says advocate of Ramachandra Baliga, father of Vinayak Baliga in the murder case.
