Badaun rape case: UP govt announces Rs 5 lakh compensation to victim
Lucknow, Jan 4: The Uttar Pradesh Government has announced a compensation of Rs five lakh for the victim who was allegedly raped by two police constables in Badaun.
According to media reports, the UP CM who assured stern action against the accused in the case, has directed the State administration to arrest the culprits.
Meanwhile, the two accused constables have been dismissed from service while two Sub Inspectors and the SHO of Musa Jhag Police Station have suspended.

The girl was allegedly abducted from her house on December 31 by constables Veer Pal Singh Yadav and Avnish Yadav and taken to Musajhag Police Station and allegedly raped there.
An FIR was registered after the victim's mother lodged a complaint against the two policemen.
