This significant event will witness not only the participation of priests and saints from across the nation but also prominent political figures, notably including Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Preceding the grand opening of the Ram Mandir, the Uttar Pradesh government plans to orchestrate the uninterrupted recital of Akhand Ramayan and Hanuman Chalisa in major state temples throughout January 2024, an official disclosed. These recitals are scheduled from January 14 to 22.

The opulent consecration ceremony for the Ram Temple is currently in the works, with a detailed framework of religious programs outlined by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and the state administration.

On the illustrious day of January 22, the idol of Lord Ram will be ceremoniously installed inside the Ram Mandir, accompanied by a multitude of celebrations.

The journey toward constructing the Ayodhya Ram Mandir was set in motion by the Supreme Court's landmark verdict in 2019, resolving the Ayodhya dispute and paving the way for the construction of this grand temple. Post the apex court's decision, the 'Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Tirtha Kshetra' Trust was established by the Centre to oversee all aspects of the temple's construction.

Construction officially commenced on August 5, 2020, following Modi's foundation stone-laying ceremony. The architectural blueprint for the Ram Mandir was conceived by the Sompura family of Ahmedabad in 1988, with subsequent modifications made in 2020.

Additionally, in a special cultural gesture, Thailand is sending soil to the Ramjanmabhoomi ahead of the temple's inauguration. This symbolic act follows Thailand's prior gesture of sending water from two of its rivers to Lord Ram's temple.
