Ayodhya To Welcome India's First Vastu-Inspired Township On 1,000 Acres
The Uttar Pradesh government is gearing up to construct a vastu-based township in Ayodhya, spanning 1,100 acres. Officials from the state government reveal that the 'New Ayodhya' township will feature buildings reflecting a blend of traditional and modern architecture. This initiative aims to establish the country's first vastu-based township. The identified land for the project has already been acquired by the state government.

With the announcement of the inauguration date for the Ram Temple, developers and builders have shown heightened interest in available land in Ayodhya. Most are planning to develop residential or commercial complexes in the town, anticipating the inauguration on January 22.
Additional Chief Secretary of UP, Nitin Gokaran, outlined the city's architectural vision. New Ayodhya City will prioritize sustainability and adopt a river-centric design, aiming to become one of the country's premier cities.
The UP government envisions constructing hotels and commercial spaces in the temple town, having auctioned a plot for a hotel with a winning bid of Rs 108,000 crore per square meter. The demand for clean properties in Ayodhya has surged, with registrations underway for the state guest house, and plans for future auctions of commercial plots.
In anticipation of the Ram Temple's groundbreaking ceremony, property rates and land prices in Ayodhya have witnessed a significant rise. Property and land transactions have increased by almost 50%, attracting developers and builders nationwide seeking to capitalize on the temple town's development.
Post-consecration, Ayodhya is poised to become a major tourist destination, leading to a substantial surge in land deals. The town is currently experiencing an average of 25 to 30 land deals per day, compared to 15 to 20 before the groundbreaking ceremony. Notably, property prices in Ayodhya had already surged following the Supreme Court's ruling awarding the disputed site to the Hindu side.
