Ram Utsav Celebrations

The newly constructed temple in Ayodhya will open its doors to devotees following the consecration of the idol of Ram Lalla on January 22. Sachdeva declared that the party would commemorate this momentous occasion as "Ram Utsav."

Preparations for the Inaugural Ceremony

Addressing an organizational meeting of Delhi BJP, Sachdeva outlined the party's plans for the grand event. "We will conduct a door-to-door invitation drive from January 1 to January 15. Additionally, we will engage with temple committees to ensure that all temples are adorned with decorations. Party leaders and workers will gather at these temples to listen to the Prime Minister's speech from Ayodhya," he stated.

Live Broadcast and Market Decorations

Sachdeva further revealed that large LED screens would be set up to facilitate the live broadcast of the inaugural ceremony in Ayodhya. Markets across Delhi will also be adorned with festive decorations, with consultations underway with traders' associations to ensure their participation.

Arrangements for Devotees

The Delhi BJP chief emphasized that necessary arrangements would be made in every ward of the national capital to enable devotees to visit the Ram temple in Ayodhya after its opening.

Senior BJP Leaders Address the Meeting

The organizational meeting was graced by the presence of senior BJP leaders, including national general secretary (organization) B.L. Santhosh and national vice-president and Delhi unit in-charge Baijayant Panda. They addressed the gathering and shared their insights.

Challenges and Preparations for 2024 Lok Sabha Elections

Santhosh acknowledged that while winning the 2024 Lok Sabha elections might be easier compared to 2019, there was no room for complacency. He highlighted the challenges posed not only by political parties but also by ideological forces aiding the opposition in their attempts to defeat Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Aiming for a Third Consecutive Victory in Delhi

The BJP leaders expressed their determination to secure all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi for the third consecutive time in the 2024 elections.

Ongoing Campaigns and Special Occasions

The meeting also discussed the party's ongoing campaigns and special occasions, including the e-Vistarak Yojana, Samarpan Nidhi Yojana, Good Governance Day, and Veer Bal Diwas. Additionally, the awareness campaign on Ayodhya's Ram Mandir was a key topic of discussion.

Call to Action for Party Workers

Santhosh urged the workers of all 13,000 party booths in Delhi to actively participate in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and booth empowerment campaigns. He encouraged them to decorate their houses with lamps and visit a temple with their families on the consecration day of Ayodhya's Ram temple.

Positive Atmosphere and Confidence in Victory

Panda expressed optimism about the party's prospects in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, citing the BJP's recent victories in assembly elections in several states. He emphasized the need to increase the victory margin in Delhi and stressed the importance of reaching out to beneficiaries of Central government schemes.

The Delhi BJP's preparations for the opening of the Ram temple in Ayodhya reflect the party's commitment to promoting religious and cultural heritage. The door-to-door invitation drive, decorations, and live broadcast arrangements demonstrate the party's dedication to ensuring that devotees and citizens can participate in this momentous occasion.
