Ayodhya Ram Temple Construction Committee Reviews Progress and Sets Deadlines for Key Projects

Nripendra Mishra, the chairman of the Ram temple construction committee, recently assessed the ongoing work at the Ram Janmabhoomi site. During his visit, he met with representatives from the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, L&T, and Tata Consulting Engineers Limited. Sources from the temple Trust revealed that deadlines have been established for completing various construction tasks.

Mishra mentioned that a pond named Pushkarini is being constructed within the temple grounds. He stated that by June next year, the construction of six temples dedicated to Hindu saints, along with the pond and a one-kilometre-long Parkota connecting the temple corridors, will be finished. The idols of these saints are currently being crafted in Jaipur, with an inspection scheduled for late January.

Construction Deadlines and Features

The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Media Centre Ayodhya Dham announced that entry gates on all four sides of the temple will be named after notable Acharyas. However, these names have not yet been finalised. Additionally, March has been set as the deadline for completing roads within the temple complex. This includes areas like Padavesh for shoes and slippers and Haritika Vithi, which will feature lush greenery.

Anil Mishra, a trustee of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra who attended the meeting, highlighted that several projects are aimed to be completed by March in anticipation of Ramnavami celebrations. This timeline underscores the importance of having key elements ready for this significant festival.

The meticulous planning and coordination among various stakeholders aim to ensure timely completion of these projects. The efforts reflect a commitment to preserving cultural heritage while accommodating modern infrastructure needs.
