Police averted an attack on Srinagar airport, arresting five Lashkar-e-Toiba (

) militants from Budgam area, sources said on Tuesday.

According to police sources, the five men were involved in the killing of a station house officer (SHO) last week and had planned to kill some senior police officers in the valley.

Police sources claimed that the LeT module had planned an attack on Srinagar airport. More details related to these arrests were awaited.
