Astronomer CEO Caught Cuddling HR Head At Coldplay Concert—LinkedIn Post Quietly Removed

The CEO of data software firm Astronomer, Andy Byron, and the company's Head of People, Kristin Cadot, are facing backlash after a video of the two getting intimate at a Coldplay concert went viral. The incident, which occurred during the band's performance in Foxboro, Massachusetts, on Wednesday, July 16, shows the duo cuddling on the venue's 'Kiss Cam'-sparking controversy as both are reportedly married to other people.

Following the viral moment, Astronomer allegedly removed a LinkedIn post announcing Kristin Cadot's hiring from earlier in 2024. The post, originally titled "An Exciting Day Today", celebrated her appointment as Chief People Officer. It now leads to a blank browser page stating, "This post cannot be displayed."

Caught on Kiss Cam at Coldplay

During the July 16 concert, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin introduced a "Kiss Cam" segment. The camera zoomed in on Byron embracing Cadot, prompting an awkward reaction. Byron quickly ducked out of view, while Cadot covered her face in visible panic. The moment drew immediate attention, amplified by Martin's on-stage comment: "Oh, either they're having an affair or they're very shy."

Kristin Cadot Still Listed on Astronomer Website

While the LinkedIn announcement has been deleted, Cadot's profile remains live on the Astronomer website, where she is listed as 'Head of People.' A former Astronomer employee who once reported to Byron told The Post that many ex-staff members found the incident ironic.

"The text groups and chains of former employees are like, everybody's laughing their ass off and enjoying the hell out of what happened and him getting exposed," the ex-employee said.

The situation has sparked widespread online discourse and raised questions about professional conduct at the company's top level. Both Byron and Cadot have yet to comment publicly.
