Assembly polls: DMK calls for applications from seat aspirants
Chennai, Jan 20: DMK today invited applications from party workers willing to contest the Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu and Puduchery, due in a few months. Party General Secretary K Anbazhagan said that prospective candidates can submit forms from January 24 to February 10.
The fee for general constituency will be Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000 for reserved categories and women, he said in a statement. If a particular constituency is allocated to an alliance party, the money paid by the

DMK party worker will be refunded, he said, adding, the cost of application form would be Rs 1,000.
