Asian Games: India Scripts History By Winning Gold Medal In Equestrian After 41 Years
The Indian team of Anush Agarwalla, Hriday Vipul, Divyakriti Singh and Sudipti Hajela on Tuesday created history by clinching a historic gold medal after registering a huge score of 209.205 in the Team Dressage in the ongoing 19th Asian Games on Tuesday
This is India's first-ever gold in this event at the Asian Games and their first gold medal in Equestrian after 41 years.

In an intense competition lasting nearly 10 hours, athletes from various parts of Asia participated, and it was the Indian Quartet of Agarwalla, Chheda, Divyakriti, and Hajela who showcased exceptional performance when it counted the most.
Anush Agarwalla and his horse ETRO achieved the highest score at 71.088, while Hriday Chheda-Emerald scored 69.941. Divyakriti Singh-Adrenalin Firdod achieved a score of 68.176, and Sudipti Hajela-Chinski scored 66.706.
India concluded with a notable score of 209.205, significantly surpassing second-placed China's score of 204.882. Anush Agarwalla stood out with an impressive score of 71.088, followed by Hriday with 69.941 and Divyakriti with 68.176. Collectively, they ensured that no other team came close to their combined score.
Their victory was over strong contenders like China and Japan, who were the top favorites for the win. This is India's third gold in the ongoing Asian Games after bagging it in Men's 10m air rifle and Women's T20 cricket.
The last medal for India won in dressage was a bronze in 1986.
