Badminton: India made history in men's doubles by winning the gold medal for the first time in 61 years. The duo of Satwiksairaj and Chirag Shetty clinched the gold by defeating a Malaysian pair in the final match.
Hockey: The Indian women's hockey team won the bronze medal by defeating Japan 2-1. The men's team had previously secured the gold medal by defeating Japan.
Wrestling: Deepak Punia secured the silver medal in the 86 kg category, as he faced Hasan Yazdani in the gold medal match.
Chess: India's chess teams performed admirably, with the men's and women's teams both winning silver medals. The men's team, consisting of Vidit, Arjun, Pragyanand, and Harikrishna, defeated the Philippines, while the women's team, comprising D Harika, R Vaishali, Vantika Agarwal, and Savita Sri, defeated Korea.
