Asian Games 2023: India's Medals Tally And Winners On September 25

India's first gold medal at the 2023 Asian Games in the men's 10m air rifle team event was secured by the trio of Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil, Divyansh Singh Panwar, and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar. They achieved a new World Record score of 1893.7.

As of September 25, India has accumulated 11 medals, comprising two gold, three silver, and six bronze.

On a historic note, the Indian women's cricket team secured the nation's inaugural gold medal in cricket at the Asian Games.

Women's 10m Air Rifle Team in Shooting: The silver medal in the Women's 10m Air Rifle Team event was clinched by the Indian shooting team, featuring Mehuli Ghosh, Ramita, and Ashi Chouksey, with a cumulative score of 1886.

Men's Doubles Sculls in Rowing: In the Lightweight Men's Double Sculls event, Arjun Lal Jat and Arvind Singh secured a silver medal with a time of 6:28.18s.

Men's Pair in Rowing: Lekh Ram and Babu Lal Yadav teamed up to help India win a bronze medal, finishing third with a time of 6:50.41.

Men's Eight in Rowing: Continuing their successful run in rowing, India added another silver medal to their tally, this time in the Men's Eight event.

Women's 10m Air Rifle Individual in Shooting: After winning a silver medal in the women's team event, Ramita Jindal claimed a bronze in the individual event in the 10m Air Rifle category, amassing a total score of 230.1.

They scored a total of 1893.7 points in the 10m Air Rifle team event.

Men's Coxless Four in Rowing: The quartet consisting of Jaswinder Singh, Bheem Singh, Punit, and Ashish Kumar secured the third position in the Men's Four event with a time of 6:10.81.

Men's Quadruple Sculls in Rowing: India earned a bronze medal in Rowing as the quartet of Satnam, Parminder, Jakar, and Sukhmeet finished in third place with a time of 6:08.61 minutes in the final.

Men's 10m Air Rifle Individual in Shooting: Shooter Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, who was part of the trio that won India's first gold medal in the Asian Games team event, also secured a bronze medal in the Men's 10m Air Rifle individual event.

Men's 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Team: The trio of Adarsh Singh, Anish Bhanwala, and Vijayveer Sidhu added a bronze medal to India's medal count in the event with a total score of 1718.

Indian Women's Cricket Team: The team, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, achieved a significant victory in the final against Sri Lanka, winning by 19 runs and claiming India's maiden gold medal in cricket at the Asian Games.

Wushu, Women's 60kg: Roshibina Devi's performance has secured India at least a bronze medal in the sport as she advances to the semi-finals.
