Asaram case: Security of deceased witness' family tightened

Muzaffarnagar, May 14: The security of family Akhil Gupta, a slain witness in a case against self-styled 'godman' Asaram, has been increased following an attack on another key witness in Panipat.

Meanwhile, Naresh Gupta, the deceased's father, has alleged that they are living under constant fear as police has failed to arrest the accused in his son's murder case even four months after his son's killing. [Asaram witness killing: Deceased's father demands CBI inquiry]

Unidentified assailants yesterday shot at Mahendra Chawla, a key witness, in the rape case against Narayan Sai, son of Asaram, in Haryana's Panipat district.
