Arvind Kejriwal's Arrest: INDIA Bloc Leaders To Protest Outside BJP Headquarters
To oppose the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the freezing of the bank accounts of Congress, Opposition heavyweight leaders will protest against BJP-led Narendra Modi government on Friday outside BJP's ITO office. According to the reports, INDIA bloc leaders will also try to woo the voters and spread information on the electoral bond alleged scam. The information about today's protest and joint rally at Ramlila Maidan on March 31 was shared by senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Gopal Rai during a presser in the presence of Atishi, Saurabh Bhardwaj, and Delhi Congress President Arvinder Singh Lovely on stage.
Rai said, "We are organising a grand rally at the Ramlila Maidan on March 31 (Sunday) to protest against the current state of affairs in the nation. The prominent leaders of the INDIA bloc will be actively involved in this event".

Gopal Rai added that "Democracy and the nation are facing imminent threats. All parties belonging to the INDIA bloc will join forces in this grand rally to safeguard the interests of the nation and uphold democracy."
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 23 in connection with the money laundering related to the now-scrapped Delhi Liquor Policy, has been sent to custodial remand till April 2 by the Rouse Avenue Court.
Special judge Kaveri Baweja said, "Having considered the submission made before this court and considering the grounds as cited by the investigative agency, there appear to be sufficient reasons to permit further custodial interrogation, particularly keeping in view the submissions that he (Kejriwal) is required to be confronted with the material collected and statements recorded so far in the course of the investigation".
Since the arrest of Delhi CM, Aam Aadmi Party workers and supporters have been hitting the streets and protesting in demand of release of Arvind Kejriwal.
On the other side, BJP workers too protested to demand Delhi CM's resignation as a government can not be run from jail.
