Arvind Kejriwal meets Narendra Modi, seeks full statehood for Delhi
New Delhi, Feb 12: Delhi Chief Minister-designate and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal met Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Thursday.
During his meeting with Modi, Kejriwal told the PM that it was an opportune time to grant full statehood to Delhi.

Kejriwal, along with party leader Manish Sisodia, on Wednesday met Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and called on President Pranab Mukherjee.
AAP leader Manish Sisodia, who had accompanied Kejriwal said: "We had a "chai pe charcha" over granting Delhi full statehood."

The Aam Aadmi Party had won 67 out of the 70 seats in the Delhi assembly polls leaving BJP with a mere three-seat win.
