Arunachal Govt makes fund provision for Lokayukta
Itanagar, Jul 8: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki today told the Assembly that his government had made fund provision for setting up Lokayukta in the state.
Stating that the Lokayukta would be constituted in due course of time, the Chief Minister, who also holds the vigilance portfolio, informed the house that the expenditure for its establishment had been worked out and fund provision made.

"The consent of the Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court for nomination of a judge of High Court as a member of the selection Committee has been received on May 7 last and accordingly the committee has been notified on June 15 last," Tuki said while responding to a query raised by Opposition Leader Tamiyo Taga during question hour.
When Taga sought to know whether he was included as a member of the selection committee as per Constitutional provision, Tuki said the Opposition Leader would be included as one of its members.
