Around 18 huts gutted in fire in Mathura
Mathura, May 23: Around 18 huts were gutted in a fire that broke out in Chapra, a hamlet of Rasulpur village in the district tonight.
"The fire broke out when a woman was cooking porridge for cattle and a dust-storm started. Around 18 huts turned into ashes," SDM Anjani Kumar said.

"Five fire tenders have been pressed into service," the SDM said, adding more fire tenders have been requisitioned from Bharatpur in Rajasthan which shares border with Rasulpur in Uttar Pradesh.
There was no casualty in the fire and efforts are on to douse the blaze, Kumar said.
