Army rescues US paraglider stuck at 15,000 feet in Himachal
New Delhi, Oct 25: The Army on Wednesday rescued a US citizen after he was injured in an accident while paragliding in the vicinity of Himachal Pradesh's Palampur, sources said.

The rescued paraglider, identified as Barry Roberts, had got stuck on a rock at a height of about 15,000 feet from the ground level in Baijnath area of Kangra district while paragliding.
International Emergency Response Coordination Center approached the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) airport for SOS rescue, who further alerted the Deputy Commissioner.
