"We have all become pilots and instructors today. It is a huge day for all of us because our hard work has finally paid off," he said.

Explaining the thought behind the proposal, he added that he and Aarushi had been together for the past five years and that there could be no better occasion to mark their future together.

"We have known each other for five years. I don't think there could be a better day than this to propose marriage to her. This is also a proud day for my family. I wanted to make it memorable for my fiancée as well," he said.
