Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi Reviews Operational Preparedness of Western Command
Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi visited the Western Command headquarters in Chandimandir to assess its operational readiness. He urged senior military leaders to remain informed about geopolitical changes, stressing the importance of enhancing the Indian Army's ability to tackle emerging threats. General Dwivedi also inspected forward operational areas in the Kathua-Pathankot region, receiving briefings on security and troop readiness from the General Officer Commanding of Yol-based Rising Star Corps.

During his visit to Chandimandir, located in Haryana's Panchkula district, General Dwivedi was updated by Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar, the Army Commander of the Western Command.
