APYC criticizes Kiren Rijiju, others for disrespecting India’s flag, map

The Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress (APYC) Union minister Kiren Rijiju and Dy CM Chowna Mein, Veterinary Minister Dr Mohesh Chai and others for allegedly showing disrespect to the national flag.

It is learnt that during flagging-off of Tiranga Yatra which was organised by BJP's youth wing Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, the trio had cut a cake which was embedded in tri-colour and the Indian map with a 'dao' (sword).

The APYC Youth Congress alleged that the leaders act has "exposed their hidden agenda to divide India on the basis of caste, race, creed and religion which is very much prevalent since the inception of 'Modi Sarkar'.

The APYC also said that the guilty must be booked under the Prevention of Insult to National Honour Act, 1971 and other provisions of the anti-national act.
